Maintenance Activity

Please be informed that we are performing a firmware upgrade for all wireless access points in BPC dorm A10(Bld 10400) on the date below. To reduce the downtime for occupants, we will perform the upgrade by bay and floor starting with A-Wing 1st floor. Occupants should expect an outage of up to 1 hour during the event. Once the event is finished, a Babtel technician will visit the location to confirm the network is operational.

Date: March 27, 2025 0400-0900 HRS AST
Expected Outage: 1 Hour per bay
Impact: CAF-WIFI and AUAB-WIFI services will be interrupted.

Recurring Maintenance
Please Note: We have scheduled maintenance every Tuesday morning on our Data Center systems in the USA and UK and our Network Systems in Qatar at 02:00 AM Arabia Time (UTC +3:00). Users may experience difficulty logging in during this time, not to exceed 15 minutes. Thanks for being patient while we keep our systems healthy!

CAF-WIFI Network Separation
Please remember ALL ‘CAF-WIFI’ customers must use the network with SSID ‘CAF-WIFI’ to login.

Once you connect to the network you will be redirected to the CAF login page, you can also bookmark the login page in your browsers

This needs to remain open to ensure you do not get disconnected unintentionally from the network. Also, the Pop-up shows the I/O value, which displays the data remaining from the data cap and your IP Address (which we use for quick identification/location in case we need to troubleshoot an issue for a user).
